  21. AWeb conforms to the HTML 2 standard. There are no standards beyond that,
  22. except if you count NetScape's extensions, since you could call them a sort
  23. of de facto standard, even though NetScape itself doesn't conform to the
  24. logic (ahem) behind them in a lot of cases.

  26. HTML 3 is not a standard, it was a draft which has even expired. If you
  27. think NetScape's forceful 'innovations' are a good thing (instead of waiting
  28. for a well thought out and company independent standard) just try imagining
  29. why people prefer using AmigaOS instead of M$ Windows. Also try to keep in
  30. mind that HTML was originally meant as a document description format, not a
  31. page layout format.

  33. If AWeb is not showing all of a page it simply means the page doesn't conform
  34. to _real_ standards. In such a case select 'compatible mode' from the
  35. 'control/HTML mode' pull-down menu.
